We are experienced in coaching doctors and medical students at various career stages, including –
- Medical students who need to decide whether to continue with their clinical training
- Resident doctors who want to identify a specialty or sub-specialty, or decide whether to follow an academic path
- Doctors who have identified a need to work on their confidence or effectiveness
- Doctors who want to strengthen their job applications
- Doctors experiencing burnout who want to review their career options
- Doctors who, late in their career, want to explore what they might enjoy doing in their next life stage
Who am I?
“Who am I?” is a simple question – and one that few of us can fully answer. Yet, knowing your needs, interests, talents, and stress points is so important that we encourage you to carry out several simple exercises to make your implicit self-knowledge explicit.

What options are available to me?
Most of us, being so used to online browsing, are drawn to exploring the available options at various moments. But our searches can quickly lead us down rabbit holes or overwhelm us. So we encourage you to explore the options once you have gained some clarity about your personal career preferences. There are various other important issues to consider, including validating your choice, identifying back-up plans, and increasing the chance of your plans working well.
Many doctors and students opt for four or five coaching sessions, more if they need help with switching to an entirely different career. However, only one coaching session is booked at a time, so the schedule is totally flexible.
